COOKIE USAGE

Cookie usage

A "cookie" file (hereinafter COOKIE) is a small data file that a website can transfer to the hard drive of your device. When you next request a page from the same site, the browser is identified by this COOKIE. In this way, the web server can identify that this request to the page was entered by the same user, who can continue his browsing and, for example, add another product to the basket.

Cookies can be classified into two groups: a) cookies related to a specific visit and b) persistent cookies.

  • a) Cookies related to a specific visit do not remain on the computer after closing the website or closing the browser. Based on the aggregated information obtained, it is possible to analyze the way the website is used.
  • b) Persistent cookies remain on the computer even after the browser is closed. These files simplify the shopping, customization, and registration process, for example. During the purchase, they store data about the selected items and after logging in to the website, they allow browsing individual pages without repeatedly entering the password. Persistent cookies can be manually removed from the user's computer.

Most browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can change your browser settings and refuse to accept cookies or accept only some cookies. If you disable the acceptance of cookies, some website functions may not be available to you and some websites may not be displayed correctly.
